Last week, a user name “Jinan Digital” released a post on Weibo, saying (translated in English): “The OPPO Reno9 series of real phones is still a square body design, and the ring flash has also come to OPPO mobile phones.“
Prior to the date that the leaked images have been posted, another Weibo blogger, Digital Chat Station stated that Oppo Reno 9 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G. This is far different from the chipset being used on the predecessor, the Oppo Reno 8 5G, that has been unveiled last Q2 2022 (which was officially released in the Philippines last September 1st), as the Reno 8 uses a Mediatek Dimensity 1300.

WILL IT BE RELEASED VERY SOON?
As of writing, the Chinese consumer electronics company, OPPO, hasn’t released any statement related to the leaked information. However, we might expect this smartphone unveils anytime this Q4, 2022.
